Le chanteur et animateur Pierre Lalonde s'est éteint, mardi soir, entouré de ses proches à Outremont des suites d’une longue maladie.

L’animateur de «Jeunesse d’aujourd’hui» et interprète de «C’est le temps des vacances» s’est éteint, mardi soir, à l’aube d’un été à peine naissant, entouré de ses proches à Outremont.

Atteint de la maladie de Parkinson, qu’il combattait depuis plusieurs années, Pierre Lalonde s’est éteint à l’âge de 75 ans.

C’est la populaire émission «Jeunesse d’aujourd’hui», qu’il a d’abord coanimée avec le chanteur Joël Denis sur les ondes de Télé-Métropole en 1962, qui a fait de lui l’icône d’une génération.

L’animateur charismatique avait aussi été le visage du jeu «Action réaction», de 1986 à 1990, sur les ondes de TQS.

Plusieurs grands succès musicaux de Pierre Lalonde ont fait l’histoire et sont encore fredonnés aujourd’hui dont «Nous, on est dans le vent» et «Donne-moi ta bouche».

Né le 20 janvier 1941 à Montréal, Pierre Lalonde avait révélé être atteint de la maladie du Parkinson au magazine «Le Lundi» en 2010.
